Greetings!
It's the first week of November and what an exciting week it's been! Not only have Americans elected a new president, but California overwhelmingly voted in favor of "The Farm Animal Cruelty Prevention Act" (Prop 2) and Massachusetts voted in favor of a ban on dog racing. You'll find more on this in our News Headlines Section.
There are some great events this month, including our annual Vegan Thanksgiving event in Houston. In December, we'll be welcoming Dr. Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet, back to Houston for several events you won't want to miss! Be sure to RSVP if you plan to attend, as these events fill up quickly.
And as always, we thank you for your continued support! If you are interested in volunteering with our organization and helping with our ongoing outreach, please let us know!
