Society of PEACE presents Farm Sanctuary President & Co-founder Gene Baur for two events in Houston!
 
We are honored to present Gene Baur, president & co-founder of the nation's largest farm animal protection organization, for two Society of PEACE events in Houston!  Gene will also be speaking at the Animal Law Section of the Houston Bar Association while in Texas.
 
These are the first of many Society of PEACE events being held this year as part of our annual World Farm Animals Day & Vegetarian Awareness Month outreach campaigns.  Please join us for these events and invite your friends!

Greetings! 
We wish to thank everyone who attended and supported our Movie Night & Vegan Bake Sale last month!  The Aurora Theater was almost filled to capacity due to such an outstanding turnout from the community!  It was a great event and, through the bake sale, we were able to raise more funds to support our outreach.  Another movie night & bake sale will be announced in the coming months!
 
This month, we are hosting two educational events in Houston featuring the President & Co-founder of Farm Sanctuary, GENE BAUR!  You won't want to miss the opportunity to hear our featured guest speaker from the nation's largest farm animal protection organization!  Learn about the issues surrounding farm animal rights and why a plant-based diet is the most compassionate choice. See our "featured events" section for more details.
 
And remember, we're giving our members the opportunity to select a name for our monthly E-Newsletter.  As mentioned last month, we're looking for something creative & unique -- something that ties in with our mission and the meaning behind our acronym.  Through the end of September, we invite you to submit your entry online in our "Name the Newsletter" contest.  We have a great prize to give away, which includes Society of PEACE logo goodies and a one year subscription to VegNews Magazine!  The winner and name will be announced in November.  Keep those entries coming!
