Greetings!
We are pleased to present Farm Sanctuary President & Co-founder Gene Baur for two events in Houston this month!  These events are the first of many we have planned as part of our annual World Farm Animals Day campaign outreach during September & October.  We are honored to feature the leader of a national advocacy organization as our guest speaker this year!
  
As the co-founder and president of America's leading farm animal protection organization, Gene Baur has conducted hundreds of visits to farms, stockyards, and slaughterhouses to document conditions, and his pictures and videotape, exposing factory farming cruelty, have been aired nationally and internationally, educating millions.  He is currently traveling around the country to promote his new book Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts And Minds About Animals And Food.

We are very excited to announce that Gene will begin his Texas book promotion tour right here in Houston, and are honored to be hosting the two events featured below.  These are the first of many Society of PEACE events being held this year as part of our annual WFAD & Vegetarian Awareness Month outreach.  Both events are open to the general public and we encourage you to invite your friends and family.

 Join us as we host a vegan reception in honor of Gene Baur and his new book Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts And Minds About Animals And Food.  Gene will give a presentation about his bestselling new book and will also be available to sign copies following the presentation.  This event is free & open to the public.  RSVP's are greatly appreciated and we can accommodate about 150 guests at this venue.

 Join us as we host a vegan dinner event and benefit for Farm Sanctuary, with our featured speaker & guest of honor GENE BAUR.  Gene will give a special presentation about Farm Sanctuary at this event!  Ticket price is $30 per person (includes vegan meal, dessert & a donation to support the work of Farm Sanctuary).  This event is open to the public, but RSVP's are required as seating is limited to 70 guests!  *Cash only, please!
