Society of PEACE Tabling Coordinator Sandy McAvin shares an old Iowa recipe for baked beans that has been "veganized" by using veggie dogs and vegetarian (soy) "bacon" bits.
We sampled her delicious "Save the Pigs" Baked Beans vegan recipe at the Unity Church of the Bay Area Vegetarian/Vegan Food Tasting Event in July. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

We also want you to be part of these exciting changes, so we're giving our members the opportunity to select a name for our monthly E-Newsletter. We're looking for something creative & unique -- something that ties in with our mission and the meaning behind our acronym.
