Dear Members & Supporters:

This week, Society of PEACE was given an unprecedented opportunity to reach out to the Spanish-speaking community in Houston.  Member & activist Ivan Espinosa represented Society of PEACE in a 15 minute interview about vegetarianism with Univision Radio Houston Community Affairs Director Renzo Heredia, which will air on Sunday.

The interview, which focused on vegetarian & vegan issues, was pre-taped in Spanish for three Univision FM Radio Houston channels!  Ivan did an outstanding job speaking about health & nutrition, animal rights, the environment and what it means to be vegan.  He also offered to send out "Dieta Vegetariana" guides to listeners upon request, which we will provide.

Listeners can tune in or listen online this Sunday, July 20th between 6:00 & 6:30 PM.  The pre-taped interview (en Espanol) will air on the following three Univision FM Radio Houston stations:

Additionally, we hope to have the interview translated for those who wish to see a transcript in English.

Please consider thanking Houston Univision Radio Community Affairs Director Renzo Heredia for the amazing opportunity to educate thousands in Houston about vegetarian & vegan issues.  Houston is home to one of the largest Spanish-speaking & multilingual populations in the country, so we are extremely grateful for this outreach opportunity!

We are also pleased to announce that Ivan will be coordinating our outreach for the Spanish-speaking community in Houston.  If you are multilingual and interested in getting involved, please email Ivan or call him directly at 713-732-1947.

For a compassionate world,
