MARCH 2008

Dear Society of PEACE Members & Supporters:
This month, we have some wonderful outreach
opportunities as part of our annual MEATOUT
campaign. We'll be starting MEATOUT Week 2008
with community service as we team up with Houston's
Food Not Bombs to feed vegan meals to Houston's
hungry. We'll also have Veg outreach tent & table near
City Hall while we hand out literature during a busy
lunch
hour. Volunteers are needed for these MEATOUT
Week events!
We'll also need volunteers to help with our
upcoming Earth Day tabling & festivities in April, as
well as volunteers who wish to help with our "Houston
Art
Car Parade" entry in time for the parade in May. We
hope you'll join us in our
efforts to educate the public about the ethical,
environmental and health benefits
of a plant-based diet! There are many ways to
get involved in outreach and everyone makes a
difference!
If you are interested in helping fund our outreach
and literature supplies, please contact
us. We greatly appreciate your support!
