Committed To Freedom
Beyond Abuse Retreats This Fall
Retreat for Both Men & Women
October 22-24, 2010 - Staten Island, NY
Retreat for Women
November 12-14, 2010 - Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area
Greetings!

If you're an abuse survivor, you know these wounds run deep, whether your faith is strong or shaky, whether you're an overachiever or an underachiever, whether you look like you've got it together or you don't. Abuse recovery isn't just about what you do or appear to do, it's about finding a balanced way to live - spiritually, physically, relationally, emotionally, and sexually.

Talk to anyone who's attended a Committed to Freedom Beyond Abuse Retreat and they'll tell you it was one of the best experiences of their life. Here's what we DO NOT DO: we don't sit around and talk about what happened to you and we don't pressure you. Here's what we DO:  we connect the dots so you'll better understand yourself and what makes you tick; we introduce ideas about God that you might not have considered in your recovery journey; we give you an opportunity to use creativity to find your voice and use it for personal empowerment; we give you practical information and relevant strategies; we use icons and metaphors that you will learn to use to remind you of healing truth; we are open, honest, and real and our goals are to help you find freedom and personal empowerment, peace and a renewed spirit.

We offer substantial discounts for early registration and for friends or partners who register together. Please click this link for more information and online registration.

This retreat provides spiritual tools to help people to move beyond abuse - particularly childhood sexual abuse. Partners or friends who are not abuse survivors are welcome to attend, but at the same time, if you prefer to attend this retreat without them that, too, is very appropriate.

Note: The retreat for both men and women in Staten Island, New York is NOT a couple's retreat, but couples are welcome to come together to support each other in the healing process.

Don't put this off one more day! Retreats fees include lodging, meals, retreat materials, and retreat. You are required to stay at the retreat facility and must attend the entire retreat from 2 pm on Friday - 3 pm on Sunday.
