January has been a month of discovery for many of us, as the convenience and fun of making electronic connections grows. From One Warm Coat's virtual headquarters, we help connect Organizers' coat drives and Agencies' coat giveaways. We now celebrate their good news through our blog, Facebook and Twitter. This month, we also welcomed new Sponsors who have created unique ways to make the virtual connection between their supporters and us in support of our cause.

A Truly Stand-Up Organizer!
 Did you hear the one about the coat drive Organizer who staged a comedy show for coats? WE did! For the second year in a row, Andrew Rutherford enlisted the funniest of his friends to "tell jokes and collect coats" at Peter's Pub in Pittsburgh (PA). They even created a Facebook Event to broadcast the special evening. What's the punch line? Andrew recently wrote to tell us that this year they collected almost three times as many coats as last year! Their coats went directly to Bethlehem Haven women's shelter and Light of Life mens shelter. See the virtual APPLAUSE sign, Andrew? We're giving you and your team a standing-O for making it so easy and fun for your friends and fans to make a difference!

A Very Social Agency!
 The Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency (ACSS) serves its community by working to break the cycle of homelessness. The team at ACSS Tweeted and posted photos on their Facebook page telling us about the day their team worked with our Warm Coats + Warm Hearts partner Burlington Coat Factory to distribute over 300 warm coats to their neighbors in need.

Coming Soon: E-Cards for Donors!
 Coming soon: A collection of brand new, beautiful e-cards from One Warm Coat! Discovery Communications, LLC (a long-term supporter and workplace coat drive Organizer), recently combined "creative muscle, strategic thinking and generous spirits..." in support of our goal to provide warm coats to all who need them. Their creative and technical wizards helped us design a fabulous collection of e-cards. Soon, our online donors who make contributions in honor of friends or family will be able to select a heartfelt e-message to share with the honoree. We are thrilled!
