CIVIC! ENERGY! GENERATION!

The National Conference on Volunteering & Service was held in San Francisco June 22 thru 24. What a great opportunity for us to meet thousands of people involved in the volunteer movement.

NCVS 2009 First Lady Michelle Obama gave the keynote address, highlighting her commitment to community service.

The Andrew County RSVP of Savannah, Missouri have let us know they will organize a coat drive as part of their 9/11 Day of Remembrance and Service activities.


SUMMERTIME IS 'DESIGN TIME'

Each Summer we up-date our website, adding new photographs and making changes as suggested by our Organizers.

Spring survey responses indicated that STICKERS would be a good tool -- so, we are now sending a sheet of stickers with each Promo Packet. The template for the stickers will be available on the Tools + Resources section of our site if you wish to create more.

Speaking of Tools + Resources, we have totally redesigned this section. We hope it will be easier for you to find the Tax Receipts, Patch Order Form and see the other items we have created to assist you.


PROMO PACKET UPDATE

promo packet With an estimated 2500 coat drives for this coming Fall & Winter, we are streamlining our Promo Packet mailings.

Each Promo Packet will contain 1 large banner, 2 box labels, and a sheet of stickers. We will mail one Promo Packet for each coat drive.

If you have multiple locations for your coat drive, please complete a separate Share Your Plans form for each location. We will mail a Promo Packet for each location.

As always, please don't hesitate to write us if you need more supplies or more tools. We are here to help YOU help your community.
