Qi Gong - A Daily Practice |
Why I do Qi Gong Daily
by Dr. Ming Wu
Qi gong activates my internal goal through inner peace. When I do Qi Gong daily, I become aware of different parts of my body releasing tension, and I re-establish the mind and body connection.
I incorporate Qi Gong into my daily life; while I am cooking, waiting for the bus, and doing Tui Na, I remain present in the moment. Qi Gong allows me to remain conscious that the true power comes from within. Many people become attached to the external goals of life, such as getting the gold medal in a world championship, getting straight A's in school and attending Harvard University, becoming number one in their field, their 401K, or winning the Nobel Prize. All of these goals come from the external world, and like a remote control, someone or something else is pushing the buttons.
One million people in the world running to get the gold medal is garbage. By doing Qi Gong, I take my internal remote control, and copy every second to become one minute, every minute to become one hour, every hour to become one year. Everything becomes balanced, high is good, low is good, big is good, small is good, Yin is good, Yang is good...everything is good. " The sage does everything in Wu's way..."
"Great works are achieved
without expectation of honor.
Because there is no recognition,
that makes honor last forever."
-Dao De Jing Chapter 2
