Spring is here!

And with the new season comes many exciting changes for the Leave No Trace community. Here at the Center, we have already seen a large increase in orders, memberships, and partnerships, as the Trainer course season starts to kick in. In addition, we are in the process of adding new teaching materials and merchandise to our store, including Group Use Brochures, Bear Canisters, and Bigfoot patches, stickers, and hats!

In all this excitement, we are also happy to have brought on a new Membership Coordinator, Dean Ronzoni, to assist Membership and Development Manager, Sara Close, with our new membership strategies for this year. Already added to the membership program: benefits exclusively for members who are also active Master Educators. Read more below.

So how can you get involved with Leave No Trace this spring? You can take the Bigfoot Challenge, as we continue to introduce new pledges each month, and check back on Leave No Trace Hot Spots, as we choose our first Hot Spot this year. Want to teach a Trainer Course this spring? In this issue, you will learn how to renew your Master Educator liability insurance, as well as how to help raise funds for the Center in creative ways. Whatever you choose to do this spring, make it count - and don't forget to get outside!

Also in this issue: a Partner highlight on Keen and their support of Leave No Trace work in the international community; and Road Wisdom on "Leave what you find" and historical artifacts.
