Greetings!
Well, we hope you have been keeping warm
throughout
January's chilly weather! This month we have an
event that is sure to heat you up....but more on
that later. We also want to wish you a Happy New
Year again, as the Lunar New Year on
February 9th
will be celebrated by many in our midst - it's always
a particularly special time of the year for
TWM, as our very first event was a Chinese New
Year Celebration four years ago!
Last month's annual
ESP Conference: Empower, Support & Promote
Each Other and Ourselves was a great success!
Despite the below freezing temps, just over 30 of
you made it down to the swanky SOHO 323 Lounge
to
hear from over a dozen dynamic women with some
very interesting things to share.
It was a wonderful opportunity to
meet other ladies of TWM and learn about the
various
things we
have to offer each other! You can read all about it

Julia Bonsignore and Rosanna Sasso for their help at
the event.
By now you all should have received an invitation to
this month's semi-annual fundraiser, a
Valentine's Chocolat Tasting at Marie
Belle next Thursday, February 10th. Please
come out to
benefit The Women's Mosaic in this fun, interesting
way - if you've seen the movie 'Chocolat', then you
have a sense of what real chocolate can do
to
stir up some passion in your life. And although
Johnny
Depp will not be attending, it is a co-ed
event, and we guarantee your
taste buds will not be disappointed, and that your
heart will
be glad it supported an organization that is worthy of
its
love! Attendees will also receive a 10% discount
from Marie Belle on purchases made that

Next month is Women's History Month, with
March
8th being International Women's Day. Besides it
being another significant time to join our
organization, we hope to offer an exciting and
interesting event so stay tuned for a separate
announcement and update about
that as it develops.

currently searching for interns (and
volunteers) in
the areas of Development/Fundraising,
Event Planning,
Public
Relations, and Administrative/Membership,
so please
have any interested candidates send us a cover
