Does Your Webmaster Wear Tightey-Whities?

... Yesterday, I happened to call on a Madison Avenue, NYC-based marketing group. Never got past the front desk to speak with or leave a voice message for the EVP (who I have specifically asked for by name). Here's what I got from the front desk instead:
"You do what? Oh, we don't do that web stuff for clients. And if we did, my boyfriend would do it for us."
OK. Now, I'm creative... I've got an image in my mind and it isn't pretty. I simply replied, "Thank you, have a nice day." That was after she hung up -- and after the image was seared in my mind of her boyfriend in his tightey-whities, laptop propped up while eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles, working on one of their client's websites.

Back to School... Already?
No one likes to rush a season -- especially not summer. But it is August, and that signals "back to school" to kids and parents.
