Radio Program

Don't forget that Linda Bamber hosts "THINK BEYOND PINK" a thought provoking and insightful program on health. NEW! Dr. Thomas Hudson, author of Journey to Hope, shares self-care and prevention for women and the men who love them in a passionate interview. Dr. Hudson guides us through the eyes of a doctor, saying that we need to be taught self-care ideas. His goal is to "dispel the current medical dogma that there's nothing you can do to prevent this disease. The good news is-there's a lot you can do. The bad news is-your doctor can't do it for you. You have to do it for yourself."

Medical Consultant Added to BRAS Staff
BRAS is happy to announce the addition of Dr. Thomas Hudson to the staff of BRAS as our medical consultant. Dr. Hudson is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in breast mammography and now thermography interpretation. He is available for BRAS clients who have questionable thermograms, mammograms, or breast cancer for a private consultation. Fees vary.
He attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and completed his radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After his time in the army, he settled with his family in Naples, FL, where he served as Director of Women's Imaging at Naples Diagnostic Imaging Centers (NDIC). Since 2005 Dr. Hudson has been an independent women's imaging consultant, working mostly in the Naples and Orlando areas. In 2010 he was appointed to the faculty of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC. His passion is to educate women about self-care as it relates to breast cancer and breast cancer prevention, and he is the author of a recently published book on these subjects, Journey to Hope. He lectures to larger groups as well as counsels women one on one about a mind-body-spirit approach to their health.

BRAS Calendar Spotlight March

Thermography is such phenomenal technology. It offers me the opportunity to make positive changes in the lives of my clients. I am able to offer another avenue to their quest for alternative health care options. However, beyond the technology, BRAS has permitted me to meet and help so many people get peace of mind. Whether it's been a negative breast screen, or a full body scan that ruled out a potential problem, I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to make a change in a person's life. This is the true reward for me.
