Welcome to New Board Members
Home Front Hearts would like to introduce our 2012 Board of Directors: |
- A. David Adesnik is a member of the research staff at the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA), a federally-funded research and development center in Alexandria, VA. David received his doctorate in international relations from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
- Elijah S. Dornstreich is a Financial Advisor in Bernstein Global Wealth Management's Philadelphia office. He is a member of the Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel, and also serves on its alumni advisory board.
- Aaron Fischer, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer of Newtyn Partners, LP. Mr. Fischer has a long history of serving as the CFO for hedge funds of varying strategy and multi-strategy funds, private equity funds, fund of funds, and broker-dealers.
- Joan Fischer has over 25 years of experience in advertising, human resources and public relations. With a strong commitment to giving back to the community, Joan not only serves on the HFH board, but on several others throughout the area.
- Meghan J. Hoerner has been attorney for over fifteen years. She began her career in Philadelphia as a tax attorney and then as an Assistant District Attorney before relocating back to her home state of New Jersey where she has been employed as an Assistant Prosecutor for the past nine years, specializing in the prosecution of white collar crimes.
- Lonni Miller Ryan, owner of Miller Ryan Media Relations,is a seasoned public relations specialist. She currently serves as a Councilwoman-at-Large, Passaic County Committeewoman, and on the Board of the New Jersey Chapter of the Federation of Republican Women.

Ways You Can Help Home Front Hearts
Here are a few ideas about how to help Home Front Hearts this month!

- Request your employees trade in airline miles for gift cards to donate to military families.
- Help with home repairs or upkeep at a local military family's home, such as mowing a lawn or shoveling a driveway.
- Hold a warm sock drive, a winter coat drive, or a pennies for heat drive.

Home Front Hearts is currently looking for New Jersey-based volunteers to fulfill the following volunteer positions:

Home Front Hearts was born of the desire to honor those who serve and their families. At Home Front Hearts, it is our intention to give voice to the families who also serve when their loved ones are called to duty; and to call to action the communities in which they live.
The mission of Home Front Hearts is to serve the families that serve our country by: providing support and resources to the families of service members, increasing public awareness of the struggles and sacrifices of military families, and engaging both individuals and businesses in building communities that are responsive to the needs of these families. |
