young peopleDescription

In Ontario, any new worker, of any age on the job, is up to four times more likely to be injured during that month than any other time performing that job (Institute for Work and Health).  A worker is "new" to the work even if it is a new job with the same employer.

To help you prepare for a potential visit from a MOL Inspector, PSHSA is offering a webinar on May 3, 2011.  Although some information will be tailored to the healthcare sector, clients from all PSHSA sectors will find prevention information they can use.
