Humility. It's a trait that's a bit off the beaten path, especially when we're in back-to-school mode. Yet it's a trait that comes with promises that we dream about for our teens: guidance and lift from God. Those things could be useful in the course of a school year. So, maybe this newsletter can be a tool to help you and your students get your humble on for the 2011-2012 school year!

FromBarry1. From Barry: Tapping into the Strength of Humility

TryThis2. TRY THISGetting Your Humble On!

FreeSession4 4. Free Session: A Little Something from Philippians

It's no accident that one of the most effective methods of teaching any skill or subject is to lead by example. God wired us to learn that way! That's why Jesus didn't just tell us how to follow God; He showed us. Titled "Imitation-the Highest Form of Flattery," session 4 of InWord's small-group study Learning To Be Like Christ (Philippians) will help motivate you and your students to adopt the posture of humility as you move into the 2010-2011 school year.
