Cure on Wheels | Moving toward a world without Ca
ncer
In July we attended the kick-off dinner for this year's Cure on Wheels event. This year's event will be on November 5th and promises to be bigger and better than ever. We will keep you posted on when registration opens and what's going on with the event. There will be training rides, packet pick-up, and always great stories.
Trek World | Model Year 2012
In a few weeks we will be headed to Madison, WI for Trek World 2012. This is the big show - we get to peak at all the new colors, bikes, and accessories from Trek. Everyday there are great seminars to teach us how to serve you better in the coming year. It is a great shot of enthusiasm for us - we always come back pumped up and ideas flowing freely.
New Employees | More Friendly Faces
We have added a few more smiling faces to the staff in the last couple months. Many of you may have already met Eileen and Brenda, two women who have been riding with us for years. You may also meet Jeff and Michelle in the coming weeks, two of our employees from our sister store ABC Bicycles, who are helping out a couple days a week. All four are fellow cyclists with years of riding experience under their belts. In the coming months we will be highlighting each of them. I hope you get a chance to meet them.
Tour de France | Biggest Race of the Year

My favorite cycling event of the year did not disappoint. Between the crashes, team strategies, and sprints, the drama and excitement didn't stop till the very end. We are sad that it is over (and that Trek's Leopard team took every place on the podium except FIRST) but we are already looking forward to next year.
Thanks to everyone who came by for the Tour de France viewing parties. We all enjoyed the hand-made croissants from Cafe Croissant, coffee and jam. In the afternoons we sipped French wines from The Wine Shop next door while we shopped and watched Phil, Paul, and Bob rehash the day's events.

Trade-UP | Helmet Program
We want you to be safe. We've seen old helmets, ones that can not continue to keep you safe. The padding is deteriorating so the rest of the helmet probably is too. In response to this, we are bringing you the Helmet Trade-UP program. The program is designed to help you always have protection for your noggin'.
If you buy a new helmet you can bring it back
within 3 years and trade it in for 15% off a new one.*
Bring in Your Old helmet and receive 10% off a new one.
Go By Bike | Computer Challenge

When you add a Trip 1 computer (valued at $30.00) to your new bicycle purchase and log 250 miles*, bring it in, show it off, and receive an in-store credit for the computer.
*no time limit....no fine print
Red Shield | Wear and Tear
Even
the best products can wear out. When they do repairs can
be costly. Trek's Red Shield Wear and Tear program covers repairs including parts and labor for either 3 or 5 years from the date of purchase of your bike. Most major components are repaired or replaced for free with no deductible or hidden expenses. Get peace of mind.
Employment Opportunities
As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We are looking for part time/ full time individuals who are committed to cycling and their community.
