Greetings!

Hope everyone had a wonderful summer! With school back in session it's time to catch up on student activities and look forward to opportunities in the coming year.
 
Andrew Nelson, All-National Honor Band 2011Summer fun!
Our students had a variety of adventures over the summer. Andrew Nelson performed as Principal Alto Saxophone with the All-National Honor Band at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.; Sam Morrison and Benjamin Zobel attended Centrum Jazz Camp featuring several jazz masters; Daniel Kim, Emily Licholai and Aditya Ramanathan attended Seattle Youth Symphony's Marrowstone Summer Camps; Jenny Koloskova attended Eastern Washington University's Jazz Dialogue Camp.

Ms. Marinescu will be leaving us soon to pursue her career in Opera. Raluca has the opportunity to audition for several of the world's great Opera companies.

Melissa Winstanley
Alumni: Melissa Winstanley is in her fourth year in the University of Washington Honors program, she will be graduating this year with both a Bachelor in Computer Science and Music, Melissa will Bill Zorncontinue a fifth year at UW to receive her Masters in Computer Science. Bill Zorn is in his second year at Carnegie Mellon studying Computer Science.
