Dear Parents,
It is time for the staff and community to begin thinking about the next school year. Please write us a letter if there are any characteristics or specific needs that you would like for us to consider regarding pupil classroom assignments. Also, include in the letter the social, emotional and educational needs or other individual or personal traits that you feel are significant characteristics of your child. Expressions of preference for a specific teacher request will not be accepted. Teacher assignments are made in August based upon enrollment at specific grade levels.
Every attempt will be made to match your child's unique learning characteristics to the teacher's teaching style. Please bullet your ideas and be as brief as you can. Your letters should be submitted to Mr. Kuntz by June 4, 2012. The placement committee is composed of classroom teachers, specialist teachers, administration and the school counselor to determine student assignments for the upcoming school year. In order for the request to receive priority by the placement committee, it will be important for you to submit your request by June 4, 2012.
Sincerely,
Thomas Kuntz Eleanor Contreras

Spring Book Fair ...
A HUGE Success!
Thank you for making our Book Fair a success!
The Spring Book Fair created a huge amount of excitement for reading at Belle View. The total sales of books sold were $12,000.00 which means about 2,400 books were sold! This also means that the PTA is able to give the library almost $3,000.00. The PTA also gave away $320.00 to teachers and students in Scholastic dollars that were used at the Book Fair. Mr. Kuntz and Mrs. Contreras also had a $20.00 drawing of students everyday that were given money to be used at the Book Fair. Thank you to everyone that participated.
If you are looking to trade in some of your old books the PTA is organizing a Book Swap to be held in June. We will be collecting books soon so stay tuned and save any books you have outgrown when you do that spring cleaning. More information will be coming soon.

During the month of April, Belle View has been celebrating Inclusion Month where students have been learning to embrace and celebrate each other's differences.
