Three Finalists Announced!

Come to The Big Event on Saturday, April 28th to meet, and vote, for your favorite finalist! Oldies and Beach 920am will be broadcasting live from the event. There will also be bands and free gifts for the first 50 attendees!

The Big Event is being held in conjunction with the first Downtown Farmes Market logoBurlington Farmers Market. It will take place from 8am - noon in the large parking lot between Webb Ave. and Front Street. Be sure to come out and buy some farm fresh produce, and take advantage of the special sales downtown retailers will have that day!

A two-time winner of the Times-News Readers Choice Award for Best Bakery in Alamance County, Owner Debbra Malchow is looking to offer her current selection of soups, sandwiches, cookies, cheese straws and cakes to the Downtown Burlington audience.

Sara-Anne Caudle describes her business model as "classic photography with a twist." She currently offers many types of photography sessions for graduating seniors, babies, and families. Her business also offers weekend workshops for photographers looking to hone their skills. Sara-Anne Photography has been in operation for four years and is excited about the opportunity to grow in Downtown Burlington.

Vintage Jane_SignThe Vintage Jane team is led by two women - neither named Jane! Kresha and Michelle describe Jane as a state of mind, and encourage others to unleash their inner Jane. Their original shop in Kernersville sells hand made and local artisan products. The shop has been very successful in its first two years, and the team is looking to expand into a new market, hopefully Downtown Burlington!
