Beer-BBQ Tickets Are Now On Sale
The first annual Beer-Bbq will be held in Downtown Burlington on Saturday, September 24th. The event will feature live music, raffles, beer and of course, bbq! Rusted Bucket Tavern owner Angie Ball is holding the event as a fundraiser for the Lupus Foundation and hopes to make the event yearly. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Rusted Bucket Tavern located at 118 E. Davis Street. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 4pm - Until. |
Music and Tastings Each Friday at Company Shops Market
Did you know that CSM Co-op has free beer and wine tastings accompanied by live music every Friday? The market plays host to a variety of local musicians, brewers and vintners. Check their blog for who will be participating weekly. CSM Blog & Events

Movies on the MoveTop Gun Saturday, July 30th at 9pm Lawn behind the Historic Depot, 200 S. Main Street Join us this Saturday for the second showing in our outdoor movie series, Movies On The Move. Aviation classic, Top Gun, will b  e shown under the stars starting just after sunset. Bring your blankets and chairs to enjoy this FREE event on the lawn behind the Historic Depot Downtown. Ace Speedway is our movie licensing sponsor for this showing and will have cars from the track on hand. Festivities start about an hour before the show - we hope to see you there!

On With The ShrewPresented by Teen 2 Teen Theater Saturday, July 30th at 10am Amphitheater at the Historic Depot, 200 S. Main Street
Teen2Teen presents 'On With The Shrew!' Come see a modernized and slightly different version of the popular Shakespearean comedy performed outside at the Amphitheater of the Historic Depot Downtown. Admission is free, but donations of used books will be accepted! Show starts at 10am and all are welcome. The previous performance of The Gingerbread Man was interactive, great for children and parents, and free. We hope to see you there! |
New Business Downtown: Creative Juices
Interested in creating art bu t don't necessarily have an artistic background? Visit downtown Burlington's newest business, Creative Juices. The business holds artistic sessions where students start with a blank canvas and leave with a finished masterpiece in hand.
All students are encouraged to bring their own beverage or snack to help add to the creative process. Classes are perfect for singles, couples or parties and the $35 cost includes all art supplies.
Join Downtown Burlington's newest business as they celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, August 6th at their location at 327 S. Main Street from 10am - 6pm.

Front Street Public House's Amtrak Bar Crawl
What could be more fun than taking a $6 train ride to experience breweries and bars in neighboring Durham? The fun people at the Front Street Public House have put together a nice day trip for Saturday, August 6th.
