Company Shops Market to Hold Ground Breaking
On Sunday, November 14th, the Company Shops Market will be holding a ground breaking celebratory potluck from 2 pm - 6 pm. Those community members with special talents in various areas of performance are being asked to think about donating their skills as part of the events entertainment. The co-op is also asking that attendees bring goodies for an old-fashion bake sale. Proceeds from the sale will help buy outdoor furniture for the new greenspace that's being constructed. The kickoff celebration signifies the final stage in the co-op's journey to completion. With construction beginning, they hope to be open by Spring 2011. For more information about the event on November 14th, please contact Heather Bjork at Heather@CompanyShopsMarket.coop.

Thanks for A Great Halloween Spooktacular!
We would like to give a huge thanks to everyone that participated, helped and donated items to the 2010 Downtown Halloween Spooktacular. Without help from the community, the event would have not have been the success it was.
The performances at the Depot were a great addition to the celebration. Thanks to the Jim Smith Jazz Sqaud, Arts Alive and Iron Dragon Kung Fu for your time and entertainment.
Our pumpkin carving and costume contest winners were all treated to a fabulous prize pumpkin. A huge thanks is in order to the following businesses that donated items for the prize packs: J&L Bicycle, Lab Corp, Wachovia Bank, Company Shops Market & Occasions.
