LynAnn's expansive knowledge of the life and times of Johnny Mercer gives the audience a romantic glimps of the Great American songbook, and Mercer's fabulous lyricist qualities.
Jef Labes, music director, adds the tasteful harmonies, keyboards, and modern grooves with full expressive talent. Labes, an experienced performer with credits of recording and traveling with such greats as Bonnie Raitt and Van Morrison, completes this musical duo.

The Life and Times of Composer Johnny Mercer
Aurora Ristorante brings duo performers, LynAnn King & Jef Labes back for a command performance with a special one-night dinner theatre.
The show includes timeless hits of well-known lyricist Johnny Mercer who contributed over 1,500 songs to the American Songbook, recipient of 4 Academy Awards, a collaborator with over 230 musicians and co-founder of Capitol Records. Mercer favorites include Moon River, Satin Doll, Summerwind, Autumn Leaves, That Old Black Magic, the list is long and impressive.
