How you are changing lives!
Corey

The Semper Fi Fund provided $50,000 to specially equip Sgt James "Eddie" Wright's new home in Conroe, TX.  These adaptations provide amenities to make Eddie's daily tasks a little easier.  "Every task throughout my day requires a little bit more forethought and effort to accomplish," Wright said.  "Bathroom fixtures, shower amenities... everything counts in the overall picture.  It's definitely a wonderful program."

Since 2004, the Semper Fi Fund has awarded over $41 million in financial assistance to service members like Eddie.  This has all been made possible because of you and your amazing fundraising efforts!  Please keep up the great work so we can continue to change lives!

Have you met your $300 minimum???

Less than 60 fundraising days to go and only a fraction of you have reached your fundraising minimum ... It's crunch time!!

The organizer of the Ride for Semper Fi had some facts to share, which should provide you some fundraising motivation!

The Average American has some interesting spending habits!!!!

Here is what the avg American spends on an annual basis:

$2,688  eating out
$2,698 on entertainment
$1,821 on cash contributions
$457 on alcohol

If you look at those dollars, that is an average of all Americans! If you just asked each friend for $100 dollars that would only be 1.3% of the categories mentioned (which are all discretionary)! In other words all they would have to do is skip one night out....one night and they could contribute $100 dollars to change the life of a hero!

So... if you have not started fundraising,
NOW IS THE TIME!
$300 minimum due by Sept. 30

For more fundraising tips be sure to check out the 2010 MCM Fundraising Kit on our website
