When I tell people that I've been with Plus Inc. for more than 19 years, they look surprised!  (I usually joke and tell them I started here when I was ten years old).  I have started wondering if I have something against change, but then I realized how much I have changed in the past 19 years.  Working for Plus Inc. has allowed me to develop my career while giving me the opportunity to pursue my passions and dreams.  Being part of the team at Plus Inc. has also given me a love for my community and the people in it. 

Things in my life have changed the most over the past three years.  Three years ago, I started back to school to achieve a long-time goal...to complete my Accounting degree.  It's been really hard at times, but when I get my degree in September, I know it will all be worth it! 

Two years ago, I met a wonderful man, and we will celebrate our two year anniversary in August.  We got married in the beautiful Rock Quarry Garden in Cleveland Park.  We had so much fun that day.  Even my daughter wrecking her new stepdad's car as we drove to our special wedding luncheon didn't ruin our day!  No one was hurt, and it was just one of those priceless moments that would only happen to us.  Allen and I now live in Greer and enjoy both downtown Greer and downtown Greenville.  We feel so lucky to live in an area that has so much to offer!

And now I will announce a little more change.  I have worked in every department of Plus Inc. with the last position being Operations Manager.  In March, I transitioned over into our Sales Department as a Business Solutions Consultant.  I love working with customers to help them find the right solutions to meet their business needs.  My past experience at Plus Inc. will enable me to help customers improve their workflow, increase productivity and reduce expenses.  I'm really excited to help other small businesses in my community grow and meet their full potential!

I feel very blessed to have a wonderful family, a vibrant community, and a rewarding career.  I am very appreciative to my friends and family who have been so supportive over the years.  I'm looking forward to seeing what awesome changes are waiting for me in the future.

North Greenville Rotary Club

As some of you may already know, David Carson, our President, is a member of the North Greenville Rotary Club.  The Rotary Club works very hard at fundraising for many non-profit organizations in this area.  This year, they have selected five organizations to receive contributions at their Annual Foundation Awards Meeting being held on Friday, June 22nd.  They are Taylors Free Medical Clinic, Frazee Dream Center, GAIHN-Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolina's and YouthBASE.

Also, the NGRC is currently implementing their biggest fundraiser of the year.  They are selling $10.00 raffle tickets with three valuable prizes to be given away by drawing on June 22nd at the Foundation Awards Meeting.  Three lucky winners have a chance to win the following:

• Apple i-Pad
• 32-inch HD-TV
• $250 gift certificate to the Mast General Store in downtown Greenville

There will most likely be between 500 to 1000 tickets sold so your odds of winning are good.  If you'd like to buy a ticket or tickets, please email David at dc@plusinc.net or call him at 242-9090, and he'll be glad to personally deliver the tickets to you.  You can write a check to North Greenville Rotary or pay in cash.
