Team Spotlight--Becky Cooper

Administrative Assistant

This month's employee focus is Becky Cooper!  For most of Becky's professional career, she has been in customer service positions.   Her technical school training was geared toward the travel industry because it seemed like a logical complement to her husband's active duty Army career.  Traveling to various destinations for more than 15 years of her husband's 23 year Army career, Becky was able to progress from smaller agencies to larger ones that focusedBecky Cooper on the specific needs of active duty military and their families.  After settling in Greenville, Becky found her way to Plus Inc. and has been with us since 2009.

Becky really enjoys interacting with customers and goes the extra mile to assist both customers and teammates.  When asked what she feels is the most important aspect of her job, Becky replied, "It is the ability to be an extension of what I believe to be the desire of Plus, Inc: to promote economic growth by assisting locally-owned businesses to continue to grow despite a struggling economy.  As the Account Receivable person, often I'm the last person that you want to talk to.  I think that would be different if more of our customers understood that a closely held goal of this company is honestly to assist locally owned companies."

Becky and her husband, Al, have five children and three grandchildren.  Becky enjoys community service activities such as Meals on Wheels and is very active at her church.  When asked to describe her life outside of work, Becky exclaimed, "With my youngest in college and (much to my dismay) my grandchildren living too far away for me to get my hands on often enough, I'm a part-time empty nester who is passionately in love with Jesus Christ and my husband.  I have a ridiculous little dog that I spend entirely too much time and money on and a knitting addiction about which I can say the same!"

If you have any questions or comments for Becky, feel free to contact her at beckyc@plusinc.net or 864-242-9090.
