Team Spotlight: Cheryl Gray
Manager of Inventory Services

CherylPlus Inc. is proud to have served the Upstate of South Carolina since 1958!  Our goal is to provide fast and efficient service to our customers.  One way that we achieve our goal is by keeping a local warehouse of parts and supply inventory for our customers.  Instead of ordering from a regional warehouse causing our customers to wait days for parts and supplies to arrive, we keep items on hand so our customers can receive their items immediately!

Behind the scenes keeping this process running smoothly is Cheryl Gray.  Cheryl started her career in purchasing in 1984 as a buyer for a deli/bakery distributor.  Over the years, she has developed a keen awareness of what it takes to meet the customer's needs.  Cheryl joined the Plus Team in 2007 and, after quickly learning our industry-specific software program, she revamped our purchasing methods and warehouse system to enable her to properly perform her favorite aspects of the job which are balancing inventory and ensuring that our warehouse has the supplies to meet our customers' needs.  When asked what she felt is the most important aspect of her job, Cheryl replied "making sure we will fill our orders complete for our customers and our technicians."  We repeatedly hear compliments from customers and employees about the efficiency of our supply and part distribution system.  Cheryl also noted that she "is proud of the fact that employees can count on what our system says we have in stock.  And our warehouse has been laid out in such a manner that just about anyone could pull an order.  Our bin locations are correct, and there is a map in the warehouse that shows where all the bins are located.  Our technicians have been very supportive in helping me understand the copier business from the parts aspect.  In fact, everyone at Plus has taken time out of their day to help me better understand this business.  This warehouse runs very smoothly because of the effort of everyone at Plus, and I am very happy to be a part of this 'family'."

Cheryl has lived in Greenville her entire life, and she loves the outdoor activities that this area has to offer.  Cheryl loves to hike and spend time on the Blue Ridge Parkway, especially with her granddaughters.  They have also recently discovered biking on the "Swamp Rabbit Trail".  Cheryl has one daughter and one son and four granddaughters whom she describes as "the light of my life."

Customer Focus:
Taylors Free Medical Clinic

Taylors Free Medical ClinicPlus Inc. is proud to be a business partner with multiple non-profit organizations in our area.  In September, Plus Inc. sponsored a table at a fundraising banquet celebrating the 5th anniversary of Taylors Free Medical Clinic.  In our economy, many people find themselves without medical insurance and without means to receive medical treatment.  Since 2005, Taylors Free Medical Clinic has been helping the Taylors community by providing free medical services to low income Greenville County residents who do not have any form of insurance.  Exemplifying a "Culture of Caring", TFMC provided 5,460 medical patient visits and dispensed 25,949 prescriptions through their pharmacy in 2009.  Except for the management team, Taylors Free Medical Clinic is fully staffed by volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering, donating or finding out more information about Taylors Free Medical Clinic, please visit their website at www.taylorsfmc.org.
