Plus Pulse--April 2010
Volume 1, Issue 2
Last month, we launched our very first newsletter. We appreciate the positive response we have received from many of our customers. You may be wondering why we had an ambluance on our logo at the top. David Carson, our company president, frequently reiterates to our team the importance of fast service to our customers. He has often said, "When customers call us with equipment issues, it's an emergency! Plus Inc is the EMS for office technology." So, now we say "EMS" means "Emergency Maintenance Service", and we created Herbie the Ambulance (named after our founder, Herb Carson) as our company mascot. |

Tip of the Month!
BEWARE OF TONER PIRATES!
Have you ever received a call stating that your copier toner prices are going up, but if you buy now you can still get the special discounted rate? That's most likely a "toner pirate."
To avoid falling for the scam, know what your maintenance contract covers and inform your staff that Plus Inc. is your copier supply and service vendor.
Many of our copier customers are on a maintenance plan that includes supplies so there is no additional charge for toner. We carry only OEM products to ensure quality, and we offer chargeable customers competitive rates. If you have any questions regarding maintenance coverage or supply pricing, please contact Lindsay Phillips or your Plus Sales Representative. |

 | Plus in the Community |
Plus Inc. was established in Greenville, SC in 1958, and we know the importance of buying local! When you buy from a locally-owned company, you are investing in the community, helping to create and maintain jobs, that generate income which increases our local tax base. One economic study found that 45% of money spent at locally-owned companies stays in our community versus a mere 13% if spent at national chain stores.
Plus Inc. is proud to partner with many local companies. A few businesses that we frequent for local services include: Greenville First Bank, Millard & Moore CPA, and Rosenfeld Einstein Insurance Company, and Bradshaw, Gordon, & Clinkscales, LLC. These customers have been loyal to us over the years, and we are proud to return the same loyalty.
