A Client's Application for Insurance is Approved When it Seemed Impossible
Recently a new client had a very expensive health insurance policy. However the client's past health history made it difficult for her to be approved for a new policy. Despite our agent's best work, the client's initial application for insurance was rejected.
Our agent realized that a certain policy type at a certain provider was the best hope -- and he knew the underwriter that would be reviewing the application. In addition, the agent had developed a positive relationship with the underwriter over time. Our agent was able to call the underwriter and and plead the case directly. The underwriter approved the application and the client is now in the new insurance and saving around $400/month in premiums. As you can imagine, she is quite pleased!

A Non-Client Experiences Great Customer Service
Our health insurance expert prides himself on his expertise with the over-65 Medicare crowd and helps the "greatest generation" (and now the baby-boomers). He has recently taken his knowledge of this part of the market (Medicare, Medicare Supplements) to an even higher level. He stays on top of the rapidly evolving list of Medicare-related products available. He is often able to save a couple hundred dollars/month while improving their coverage. I doubt there is anyone in the USA with a greater knowledge.
Recently a fellow member of a local chamber mentioned his in-laws were confused with their Medicare situation. He had no idea that our firm provides this expertise and was pleased to discover it. Knowledge Demonstration
A new client had just come on board about 2 years ago and I could see that his insurance coverage was very minimal. The premium was low, but the coverage was even less than what you expect. So health insurance bubbled to the top as an initial priority. I called our health insurance expert explaining that I did not have the policy yet but described it to him. He said, "How much is his premium?". I quoted the monthly premium amount. He said, "Oh, that's the XYZ-234954 policy." He proceeded to list all the details and also said he could place him in a much more comprehensive policy for the same premium. By the way, I did confirm shortly thereafter that the agent was exactly correct on the policy! It amazed me that his knowledge was so complete that with a premium dollar amount and description that he could name the policy. Wow! This client has been in this policy now for a couple years and is delighted.
