Morningstar Shocks [most of the] World

Dear 401(k) e-newsletter subscribers - this news warrants a special edition in-between quarterly e-newsletters.

On 8/25/2010 Morningstar presented research based on extensive data that said that low fees are a stronger indicator of mutual fund performance than their own "star ratings".

One of the principals at Capital Directions wrote a great article on Morningstar's epiphany.   I see no reason to reinvent the wheel - this is a great article.   Capital Directions is the ERISA Section 3(38) Advisor on our plans.

Enjoy.  Click here for the article.
Until our next quarterly 401(k) issue.

Sincerely,

John O'Reilly
