Help Us Give Back this Holiday Season
Please help us help others this holiday season.  During December we will collect new hats and mittens for our Hat & Mitten Tree.  Please drop off all items by Dec. 19th.  All items will be donated to Emmaus House in Haverhill.  The library is also a drop off location for Toys for Tots.  A bin will be located inside the main doors to the library.  The bins will be collected mid-December.

Thank you to everyone who generously donated canned goods to our food drive during the month of November.  All items were donated to the local food pantry.
Change Your Pin on December 5

Starting December 5th, we're going to be asking you to select a new, more secure password for your Library account.

Why are We Doing This?

Information on what materials you have checked out, on hold, etc. is private data protected by State law. The current four-digit PINs do little to prevent a hacker from compromising your account information.

After you update your password, you'll have the ability to update your e-mail address online and, if you wish, to choose a user name for your account other than your library barcode number.

Please note that a username other than your barcode

number will work only for logging into the MVLC catalog. Any other services that currently require you to enter your barcode (Museum Pass Reservations, databases, etc.) will still require you to use your barcode for access.

What You'll Need to Do

When you log into your account after December 5th, you'll be automatically prompted to change your password. You'll need to select a password that's at least 7 characters long and contains both letters and numbers. Once you make this change, you'll be able to log into your account.

If you forget your new password, you'll still have the ability to update it online. Langley-Adams Library also has the ability to reset your password or to assign you a temporary password that will allow you to reset your password yourself online.
