The History of the Red Sox
Mon. April 4 at 7pm Join Richard Johnson, Curator of The Sports Museum at the Boston Garden since 1982, as he discusses the history of the Boston Red Sox. Richard has authored and co-authored several books including, Ted Williams: A Portrait In Words And Pictures and A Century of Boston Sports. Only a Game Mon. April 11 at 7pm Meet Veteran Sports Commentator and author Bill Littlefield. Mr. Littlefield is the host of WBUR and National Public Radio's Only A Game, a weekly one-hour sports magazine for the serious sports fan. This program is funded by the Friends of the Library. |

Friends of the LIbrary RED SOX RAFFLEWin 2 Red Sox tickets for Sunday, May 1, 2011 game against the Seattle Mariners! Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10! Drawing will be held Wed. April 20.
