Next Membership Meeting will be Wed. April 6 at 7pm. This meeting is open to the public!

Thank you to all who have become part of our Friends Membership! We can't do it without YOU!
The Friends group has been re-vitalized and re-newed and we need YOU to help make this group successful!
The Friends help to support the library by providing museum passes, children/teen/adult programs, as well as prizes, supplies and performers for the Summer Reading Program. In order to continue this support we need to find creative ways to fundraise! Please consider joining today! 

Download a membership form and drop it off or mail it to the library. It is only $5 for an individual to join!

Red Sox Series

 

The History of the Red Sox

Mon. April 4 at 7pm 

Join Richard Johnson, Curator of The Sports Museum at the Boston Garden since 1982, as he discusses the history of the Boston Red Sox. Richard has authored and co-authored several books including, Ted Williams: A Portrait In Words And Pictures and A Century of Boston Sports.

 

 Only a Game

Mon. April 11 at 7pm

Meet Veteran Sports Commentator and author Bill Littlefield. Mr. Littlefield is the host of WBUR and National Public Radio's Only A Game, a weekly one-hour sports magazine for the serious sports fan.

This program is funded by the Friends of the Library.

Friends of the LIbrary RED SOX RAFFLE

Win 2 Red Sox tickets for Sunday, May 1, 2011 game against the Seattle Mariners! Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10! Drawing will be held Wed. April 20. Proceeds help to continue the museum pass program! Tickets may be purchased at the library or by contacting Ron Mertens at (978) 914-7088.
