Help BBFA Build Better Families by Acting Now!
BBFA logo
Building Better Families through Action (BBFA) was established in 1981 by a group of concerned parents who decided to take action to educate other parents about alcohol, tobacco and other drug use in the Birmingham/Bloomfield area.  We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote healthy families by actively educating, informing and providing tools to parents and the community about healthy parenting as well as the prevention of substance abuse and other destructive behaviors.

BBFA is the only organization in the community solely committed to parent education related to pro-active parenting as well as prevention.  We offer free programs every month along with a number of specialized educational opportunities.

Studies show that pareneting is the most important determining factor in preventing substance abuse and destructive behaviors.  All families are at risk and BBFA is taking on the tasks of educating parents about the risks kids take as well as how to better equip themselves to combat risky behavior.

We hope that you will join us in our mission and support BBFA!  BBFA is largelty privately funded and we need your help to continue to offer the wide variety of parenting & prevention programs we offer (most are free of charge) to our community.  Please help us reach our campaign goal of $10,000.  Every little bit helps!
Thank you for your support of BBFA!
