Happy harvest! Fall is a great time for family and friends, a time for sharing and caring, a time for hope. 

With Election Day fast approaching on November 2, our Association encourages you to take time to research the issues on the ballot and the candidates running for local, state and federal offices. It is very important that we all get out and vote.

As winter approaches, now is the perfect time to enjoy the fall activities in Maine, such as apple picking, pumpkin festivities and hayrides. It is also important at Halloween and Thanksgiving gatherings to remember if alcohol is part of your event, please be responsible and designate a driver.

To help with our ongoing message of responsibility as the holiday season approaches, our responsibility campaign spokesperson, Olympian Julia Clukey has recorded a public service announcement for Thanksgiving, click here to listen.

    National Distributors Honors Gaziano
Graziano_footballA new scholarship and awards program for Maine high school football players has been created in memory of Frank J. Gaziano, founder of National Distributors and a former college All American and professional football player with a life-long passion for local sports.

 The Annual Frank J. Gaziano Memorial Offensive and Defensive Lineman Awards will be presented to players who epitomize the character, leadership, and perseverance of Gaziano. Read the press release.

      Clukey Returns to Lake Placid
Julia ClukeyMaine Beer & Wine Distributors Association spokeswoman, Olympian Julia Clukey has returned to Lake Placid, New York to join other members of the U.S. Luge team as they continue training for the upcoming World Cup. Clukey has played a large part in the MBWDA's responsibility campaign. To keep up with Julia and follow her on and off the track, become her fan on Facebook.
