Worship Master Lucas W. Hunter greeted 28 brethren, their guests and visitors for his last official act before yielding the East to WM-Elect John W. Evans Sr. WM Hunter expressed his appreciation to all involved in his term of office and reflected upon the joy of the year that including completing the renovation and occupancy of our new home in Gahanna.
He dismissed his committees and honored Bro David Hunter, his father, with the Mason of the Year Award for his very intense and successful efforts in improving the communications of the lodge with the membership. It is the second time Bro. Hunter has been so honored.
WM Hunter then welcomed the installing officers and relinquished the East to MWB Jack Allen, PGM, installing officer, who declared the lodge open for the purpose of installing the 2010-2011 officers. Assisting were WB Jimmie Bontrager, marshal and co-installing officer, WB Arthur Lofton Jr. chaplain and WB James Stelzer secretary.
WB Bontrager, father-in-law of the incoming worshipful master, obligated the officers. Those installed were:

Jimmie Bontrager PM - Treasurer
Jack Allen PGM - Secretary
Terry Cooke - Senior Deacon

Lucas Hunter PM - Trustee
James Stelzer - chaplain,
Richard Ille II - senior steward,
Daniel Rannebarger - junior steward and lodge education officer
John Molino - assistant treasurer,
Richard Boyce Jr. - assistant secretary
Gifts were presented to WM Evans by his family and friends and he in turn presented booklets and gifts to his officers.
The Past Masters then gathered west of the altar and welcomed WB Lucas W. Hunter to the ranks of has-beens with the presentation of his PM apron and jewel. His jewel was previously worn by the late WB Charles Rector.
The lodge was declared closed by MWB Allen and all retired for pictures, cake and coffee.
