Walker 

WALKER Vernon Lee "Shotgun" Walker, age 84, born January 26, 1926, died February 15, 2010 at his home. Vern was a retired Lt. from the Franklin County Sheriff's Dept. with 53 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Fraternal Order of Deputy's Assoc., Buckeye State Sheriff's Assoc., East Gate Masonic Lodge 603, and The National Rifle Assoc. Preceded in death by his parents Cline and Ida Walker of Portsmouth, OH. Survived by daughters, Vickie (Robert O'Connor) Colvin, Kathy (Gary) Bentley, both of Columbus; six grandsons; a granddaughter; six great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughters. Family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Father Leo Connolly officiating. Interment to be at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Condolences to www.rutherfordfuneralhome.com.
