Marilyn Marie Brintlinger, age 78, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009. She was born August 17, 1931. Marilyn is the wife of 56 years to George G. Brintlinger. She is preceded in death by parents Paul and Alice Vagnier. Marilyn graduated from West High School in 1949 and was a retired executive secretary for the Ohio Board of Cosmetology. She was a member of Bexley United Methodist Church, Bexley Women's Club, OSU Women's Club, past matron of Bexley Chapter of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband; son, Greg Brintlinger of Ft. Lauderdale; daughter, Lisa Brintlinger and daughter, Marsha (David) Myers; and grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffrey Myers. Services will be held at Bexley United Methodist Church, 2657 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43209 on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. Pastor Dorothea Maloney officiating. A private interment will be at Harrison Township Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215 or an organization of their choosing. Also, Brother Mahlon L. Fauss, Past Potentate had surgery yesterday morning at The James for bladder cancer. He is out of surgery and doing well. They found the cancer cells were just floating not attached to the bladder. This is one of the first people that WB Hall knew as a Mason and he would like us to keep him in our prayers.
