Finger Lakes Gallery & Frame - Art of a Family Tree: Three generations of artists from the Fladd family in several different art mediums will be showing at Finger Lakes Gallery & Frame, 175 S. Main Street, Canandaigua, thru May 26. The show will showcase stone and wood sculptures by John Fladd and original artwork from his talented family.

The Granger Homestead Women's Council "Plain and Fancy" 10th Annual Spring Lawn Sale: Sat, May 26, 2012, 9am - 2pm. Plans include a bake sale and an antique and collectibles sale, proceeds from which go to Women's Council. There is an opportunity for members and interested people to rent a space for $20 to sell their garage sale items or collectibles at this event. Yarger Memorial Golf Scramble June 9! The 15th Annual Yarger Memorial Golf Scramble, benefitting Thompson Health's Cardiac Rehabilitation Department, is Sat, June 9, at Victor Hills Golf Club, 1450 Brace Road, Victor. 18 holes of golf with cart, unlimited lunch, beverages on the course, a steak banquet dinner, tee gifts and a dessert buffet. Congratulations FLCC Graduates!
Finger Lakes Community College celebrated its largest class of graduates ever on Sat, May 19, at the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center on the FLCC main campus.
Approximately 1,040 students will have earned a total of 1,092 degrees and certificates between August 2011 and May 2012.
The FLCC Nursing Department had 63 graduates this year, one of its largest classes.

2. Canandaigua Middle School's RSSS Klub is now selling t-shirts & jewelry to raise money for the Courtney Wagner Fund; a foundation set up for a Canandaigua teen diagnosed w/ a brain tumor. Performances will include: two bands, music videos, singing, dancing, a LED hula hoop routine, as well as literature readings of the student's published work.
