Requests for Prayer
Some needs in our community of faith... |
We've received this follow up report from Doug regarding the prayer need he shared the other day about his son-in-law's grandmother. The note comes from Doug's son-in-law:
'Oma' tolerated the surgery much better than anyone anticipated. She had a total hip replacement and did so well she did not have to spend any time in the ICU which is almost a given considering all the issues.
Being able to tolerate the trauma of an operation was a real question and I guess they made some tough Germans back in 1923. She exceeded everyone's expectations.
Her spirits are high and she will begin to walk starting tomorrow morning.
Two or three days in the hospital and then the real work begins in a rehab facility which will not be a quick stay.
God bless you all for your love, thoughts, hugs and most of all your prayers.

Do you have a prayer request? Share it with us and please indicate whether you'd like it to go to the entire community, or perhaps to a smaller, more private group of intercessors: Email Link for Prayer Requests. Because of the nature of this online e-mail tool, it takes a little bit of time to produce and send, and it takes several days for a significant number of people to open them. You can always post prayer requests immediately in the prayer request forum at the Epiclesis website. If you do not want to receive prayer requests from Epiclesis, but do wish to continue getting Newsletters and Sunday Worship Previews, please modify your account status by choosing the "Update Profile/Email Address" link below.
