Dear friends,
Attached is a letter from our Interim Conference Minister, Rev. Krista Betz. Krista has been offered an amazing opportunity as Director of Ministerial Assistance with the United Church of Christ Pension Boards and her time with us will end on September 30, 2012. She truly fulfilled her mission to help our conference heal and refocus on our ministries. Please join with me to thank Krista for her commitment to the churches of the United Church of Christ in Kansas and Oklahoma.
As we move forward with the mission of our conference, our leadership plans to appoint an Acting Conference Minister to ensure that our Annual Meeting operates smoothly, our search and call processes continue, and the Designated Conference Minister transition happens seamlessly. Please share your inspirations with our Council Executive Committee or at the next Conference Council meeting, July 20-21 at Camp White. I thank God that we share this journey.
