If you are interested in sponsoring a child for camp this holiday season please contact Sara Shaw @ wmcucc@tctelco.net or call 620-767-5165. Last year 21 campers attended Holiday Camp. Of that 21 all but 1 came on scholarship, and more than half told me the only thing they got under their tree was the gift of camp. Holiday Camp is a true mission of providing some warmth to others in need this holiday season. We couldn't offer this without the love and support of many of you. Thank you and Happy Holidays J

Celebrate Holidays and Special Occasions with a gift through Global Ministries
Dear Friends of Global Ministries:
Global Ministries loves celebrating special occasions with donors and friends. We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weddings, the birth of children, ordinations, graduations, and many other milestones when friends and family have made tribute gifts in honor of the occasion. Gifts can be made to support a particular partner, a missionary, a special project, or general ministries of Critical Presence around the world.
Global Ministries personalizes a card for the gift recipient and includes a photo of the supported ministry. Gift givers receive a letter of thanks and a receipt for tax purposes. Learn more about giving gifts like these here: http://globalministries.org/get-involved/special-giving-opportunities/alternative-giving.html
Recently several Global Ministries supporters have chosen to use the Causes application on Facebook to make a Birthday Wish in support of Global Ministries. Causes just added the ability to make a Holiday wish as well! You can make a Birthday or Holiday wish by visiting http://wishes.causes.com/.
Each year, Global Ministries helps churches, individuals, and families celebrate Christmas through the Alternative Christmas program. You can give a gift to a friend or loved one while also blessing the lives of others around the world. To learn more about Global Ministries Alternative Christmas, visit http://globalministries.org/get-involved/special-giving-opportunities/alternative-christmas-giving.html
Your gifts can also help raise funds for the work of Global Ministries when you do your shopping online. Visit http://www.goodsearch.com/goodshop.aspx before you make your purchases and Global Ministries will receive a small percentage from participating retailers, airlines, and others. You can also download the GoodSearch/GoodShop toolbar so your online purchases support Global Ministries all year: http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbar/global-ministries-disciples-of-christ-and-united-church-of-christ.
