Hey all.. if you are going to annual meeting and you haven't signed up yet, you need to do it soon so we can tell Kenny how many people are going to go to the ropes course. Remember also you will need to bring about 40 dollars for the course and for food and such.
Greetings from WMC!

Autumn is in the air here at camp, the nights are cool and the days are warm but, not too hot.  The hay is bailed and the hay maze is almost complete.  Fall flowers can be spotted all around the camp.  We have showy-wand goldenrod growing in an area at camp.  It is very rare to find this plant in our area.  This was found by Jeff Hansen from K-State and it is just starting to bloom.  Seed samples will be gathered from this plant and logged on the books at K-State and nurtured to help it spread. Leaves will be starting to change soon and turn camp into a wonderful display of God's color wheel.

If you have a chance, come out and see the glory of God's work.

We have left the boat in for a few more weeks for tours of the lake to fully enjoy the show.

Some of the great fall activities out here at camp include: boat tours, hiking, and disc golf, and bird watching, meditation along one of the many secluded coves, spending time at Vespers point, Observation Tower, Star Gazing, butterfly watching, playing outside on the playground, hay rack riding, enjoying a picnic outside the Dining Hall, and the Octoberfest Event the second weekend of October.  If you are interested in participating in such an activity or another please call before coming out to make sure there is not a group on camp and to reserve a driver for your boating activity or hay rack ride.

Octoberfest
