OKLAHOMA STORMS
As you watched the news, you probably heard about a series of tornadoes and hail storms that have recently hit the Oklahoma City and Norman area. We have 5 congregations in the area: Norman UCC, Church of the Savior, Church of Open Arms, Cathedral of Hope, and Mayflower UCC. Calls were made by the interim conference minister to the church offices after the tornados and no damage to the church buildings or members' homes were reported. However, there was significant damage from the golf ball to softball sized hail that came days later. We ask you to pray for all of the people in the Oklahoma City/Norman area as they recover from these storms.

Submit Your Mission Stories
It is time to share your mission stories for the "Calendar of Prayer." Please send via e-mail your submissions to Jan Aerie aeriej@ucc.org for this daily guided prayer resource. This resource has been used by individuals and local UCC congregations for over 70 years. It began by lifting up the missionary personnel of the denomination. The "Calendar of Prayer" is a unique offering to the church, lifting up the mission stories of local congregations, conferences, associations and the national settings of the church. We are invited and encouraged to remember and pray for these ministry outreaches daily. This is an opportunity for you to share your experiences and passions in print with others. Please send short (200 words) stories and links for stories to Jan no later than June 21.
