We are excited about our fall "Friends and Family in Faith" campaign. Its purpose is to raise awareness and resources for the life-saving services we offer at LACHC. We provide over 30,000 medical, dental, mental health, and screening visits for over 6,000 people. We serve the poorest of the poor - homeless and public housing residents of central Los Angeles.
Our mission is to increase access to healthcare for all homeless and low-income residents of Los Angeles by providing responsible, quality, Christ-centered, comprehensive healthcare services. And, although our mission is based in faith, no religious involvement is required for service - we serve all, with open hearts.
This year we face enormous need as the national economic crisis continues to impact the communities we serve. With the rapidly rising number of uninsured as well as the alarming 12.3% unemployment rate in Los Angeles, the demand for our services has increased dramatically. While facing this escalating need, we are experiencing decreasing revenues. All this to say - we need you now more than ever!
