so it's time to start the blog back up.  A year ago, I stopped (and privatized) the blog to focus on the book writing.  But lately I've been told it's time to start posting again, and letting God use this format however He wants to keep stir up people's passions for Him, others and self.

Yong Lee, one of Rekindling's board members, told me to be writing about two things: 1) my experiences here at seminary (I'm in my first semester of pursuing a dual-degree in Theological Studies and Pastoral Counseling) and 2) exhortations and encouragements that God has been showing me through Scriptures, prayer and life.

Pondering what I should reveal in my first blog back, I kept coming back to one of the biggest realizations I've had here at seminary, and one that is quite applicable to our daily lives, even if it's not realized at first.  The issue is this:  how do know what doctrine is absolute and what doctrine is relative?  Specifically, what doctrines within Christianity must be accepted by all believers and what doctrines are allowed to be debatable?
