Israel Expedition update:
 The team leaves in about three weeks, and they have already reached their financial goal, praise God!
They are creating a 24-hour prayer list, to have every hour of every day for the entire trip covered in prayer. If you would like to be a part of this, email me back and let me know.
When they return (11/1), we will get an update out as to what God did through them and to them. May His Kingdom be impacted!

 One of our long-time Rekindlers, Kristie Little, has joined a Frontline/Global Impact mission trip to Peru, leaving this December.

Recent Studies I've worked on
 Over the past several months, I have worked on quite a few different Christian topics/themes. Some of these I have posted on the Rekindling blog; others I have created a Handout for (to be discussed in a Workshop, Small Group or 1on1). Eternal/Internal/External - viewing life with a Biblical top-down perspective
Know Thyself - figuring out the Calling/Purpose/Niche in life for which God has hand-crafted you (10 parts; in progress)
Agape Love - discussing what God really means when He commands us to love one another, rather than embracing our own definitions
Biblical Parent-Child Relationships - understanding God's unconditional expectations for Parents and Children (and leaders and followers)
Flight, Fight or Persevere - accepting our Biblical options when facing tough circumstances; looking at the Jonah-, Joseph- & John- levels of Perseverance
Hopelessness - reading what the Bible teaches about Hope in the middle of tough times (3 parts)
Heaven - learning the overall parameters and a few of the details of what God teaches us concerning Heaven and the 'afterlife'

LIVING ON FAITH!
 God has made it pretty clear to me over the past several months that all the material I write and teach and all the time I spend encouraging and counseling needs to be, at least for now, free of charge.
The Scriptures explain that teachers of the Word should earn an 'ample honorarium' and be able to live off that work (1 Timothy 5:17 and other passages). So how do I reconcile those two things? By trusting in God to provide through the donations and support of others (Matthew 6:33, Luke 8:3, etc).
So I do sincerely ask each of you, if you have not done so already, to talk to Our Boss and see if He is asking you to support me and the work of Rekindling. Whether it's $30/month, $500/year or one-time gifts, all of it is greatly appreciated.
