 This year's highlights include the two time Academy Award nominee Brenda Blethyn (Little Voices, Secret & Lies) in the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre's production of Edna O'Brien's Haunted, Broadway favorite Peter Nichols (A day in the Death of Joe Egg, Privates on Parade) new play Lingua Franca and a rediscovered (and now uncensored) gem by John Osborne and Anthony Creighton, Personal Enemy.

New plays by Hywel John, Carl Caulfield and the ground-breaking Inspector Sands complete the line-up of plays. While the popular Financial Times' Weekend columnist Mrs Moneypenny, and Bonnie Langford, one of Britain's most treasured performers, round off the festival adding variety to the already exciting and diverse line-up.
