PLAY - Tummy Time Tumble

TT Tumble

With gleeful exuberance to reach his grandma quickly, this baby creeps on hands-and-knees in a quicker rhythm and tumbles over onto his grandma's legs.  Comfortable on the floor at the baby's level, his grandma doesn't miss out on his physical play - tumbles and all. Together they laugh at this surprizing interaction and body-to-body contact play

Ball Game with Mama and...

Ball Game

Waiting with both arms outstretched and hands open, his mom is ready to catch the ball.  Balancing in sitting this baby can now rotate his body to look at this grandma nearby.  With ball in hand he gestures to see if she wants to play catch too.

Including his grandma would make this a three-way ball game and one he has probably played before.  What is new - is that he is body confident in independent sitting and he can now turn around and invite his grandma to join in his ball game!

Peek-a-Boo - FloorMoves Play

PeekabooReady to play peek-a-boo in a new way?  Comfortable in an environment where all the adults are on the floor, this baby discovers a new partner in play.

Disappearing and reappearing again in peek-a-boo is thrilling for babies and they play it over and over.

Movement play with another adult and a variation on the peek-a-boo game with a large yellow ball expands this baby's engagement in a new social interaction and play experience.
