David A. Gerschick
David Gerschick has spent his professional career in manufacturing in the Richmond area and the last six years actively pursuing a lean education. This journey has led David to his current position as the Lean Six Sigma Manager for Hill PHOENIX's Display Case Division.
He believes in the benefits of Lean, Six Sigma, having experienced the benefits first-hand on more than one occasion. Hill PHOENIX was a charter member of VBEC and David serves as the company's voting member of the association.
David looks forward to his extended role in VBEC and giving back to the profession that has given him so much over the years.
Steven Hall
Steven Hall began his Lean Six Sigma journey over 16 years ago at AlliedSignal/ Honeywell where he held various positions in operations, maintenance, quality, and Six Sigma. Since that time he has successfully used Lean Six Sigma to drive over $100MM in business results.
He is currently the Director of Process Excellence for Capital One. In his role he is responsible for the Lean Six Sigma learning journey for the Capital One Enterprise of over 30,000 associates. Prior to his current role Steven has worked in Compliance, US Card - Customer Experience, and US Card - Recoveries. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Steven holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. When not at work Steven enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years, son age 14, and daughter age 10.
